So I successfully updated my server to 1.8, and then realised I needed to configure essentials using FireZilla. So I downloaded essentials 1.8 and so on. But I disabled essentials 1.7 because I launched my server and essentials was bugging everything. I don't want to loose my essentials data, but the file is "Disabled" aka a .disabled. I enabled essentials via multicraft again. But the file is still a .disabled, and I can't access my old data. I'm in a right pickle it seems. Any help greatly appreciated!
.disabled as in the plugin jars ending with .disabled? If so rename the files to remove the .disabled part.
