I am having trouble port-forwading (I think that's what it's called) my domain. My final goal: make test.left4craft.net point to 198.178.127.8:25717 or s20.hosthorde.com:25717 I know the IP is correct, I could connect to it with the port The a record is working, I can connect with minecraft.left4craft.net:25717 I cannot use test.left4craft.net (I get the error "unknown host") As I was creating this post, I relized that _minecraft and minecraft may not work well together, so I changed the a record to "myserver". This may work, but I don't want to have it not work and know that I could have made a thread.

It did, otherwise myserver.left4craft.net:25717 wouldn't work. I followed those instructions exactly, and I waited overnight. As a side note, why can't we just buy dedi IP's?
Nevermind, it works for everyone but me I made an a record and told people like me to use that with a port
by works for everyone but me I man that everyone else can connect without a post but I needed to use an a record with a port. I still don't understand why.
