Just within the last couple of hours, my server on s36.hosthorde.com has been experiencing severe lag with the console telling me spikes upwards of 11000ms.

Additionally, the console clears and displays:
Couldn't get log: Can't connect to Minecraft bridge! (110: Connection timed out)
    and sometimes
    Couldn't get log: Empty Response

I haven't added or removed anything large to the server, where the set up filezilla FTP is also much much slower than it was before.

CPU and memory usage are low and the only "problems" that the log scanner picks up are an unrecognized towny version, which is not a problem as the craftbukkit just doesn't recognize it, not that it is incompatible and not working.

The server is supposed to open in 14 hours and I am unsure if i will have to push it back because of this. Thanks for anyone's input.

There was a small DDoS attack that was flying under the radar, which has now been mitigated.
