I have opened tickets and used the chat. They have certainly tried. But nothing, absolutely nothing I was advised to do has helped. So I am new to minecraft, I'm new to "server" plays with games like this. I know nothing about coding, or developing anything. But I assumed that in the very least, my friends could at least break a block of dirt or you know die when swimming in lava. Currently I am the only one allowed to do anything. I have whitelisted them, I have make them admin, OP everything short of giving them the server personally. The server I paid for, as cheap as it was, is absolutely useless to someone new to the whole thing. I have edited files as directed. Followed everything to a T. I watched the Git program compile the files even though i am almost sure they are not in the right spot. I simply do not know what else to do And I fear a may not continue using the service as, due to my lack of knowledge, it is useless to me as it was intended. No sense in paying for it if my friends can just watch me build. If anyone. Anyone at all can help me with this, maybe log on and figure out the issue I would be forever grateful (I even lose anything in my inventory each time I log on. I mean..... That in and of itself is a turn away)
You have a number of plugins on your server. Why not remove them and add them back one by one, configuring each one to your liking as you go?
I finally did that one by one wiped the server clean and started fresh. I still dont understand a lot of stuff but im figuring it out. Through process of elimination. I hoped to find tutorials on how to start up a server that wasn't walls of text but not so far. After 6 hours with a few friends we have the server playable. Now its just process of elimination as to what plugins work and what don't Thanks for the response
