How to switch Minecraft versions in the Minecraft launcher

1. Start the Minecraft Launcher, and at the bottom left, click New Profile.
   
2. Change the Profile Name to something descriptive for the profile you're creating, for example "Minecraft 1.7.10"
   
3. Change the Use version dropdown to the version of Minecraft you want to use.
4. Click Save Profile.
