We're always getting word ip's like <servername>.mcalias.com or something like that, And I as an upcoming server owner would be amazed to see the best hosting (in my opinion) would have great ip customization. Like this: for an extra $5 you could replace .mcalias.com with .com, and that would be amazing. Comment down below your thoughts on this!
To do that, you can register your own domain with a domain registrar. .com TLD's are around $10/year, and you can use it for anything you want, such as a website and subdomains that connect to servers.
I know this, but I think it would be a lot easier for new server owners and it wouldn't require any other paying on a domain site, you'd just have to pay on hosthorde and an extra $5 or something. It's just a suggestion, anyway
Anything we could offer would be more expensive and less featureful than buying your own domain from a dedicated registrar.
You can just use that as your target hostname as shown in the following resources: https://www.hosthorde.com/forums/resources/setting-up-a-srv-record-with-cloudflare.77/ https://www.hosthorde.com/forums/resources/setting-up-a-cname-record-with-cloudflare.76/ If you want to use the IP to your server, you can do a ping/DNS lookup for that. https://gwhois.org/dns/s28.hosthorde.com For your node it is 162.254.149.56
