We will be performing scheduled maintenance on s49.hosthorde.com, starting at 12:00AM GMT/BST on October 8th, 2013
It has recently come to our attention that clients who ordered a Netherland server, and were placed on s49.hosthorde.com, were incorrectly provisioned in our Chicago data centre, rather than in our Amsterdam data centre location.
To resolve this, we will be transfering all clients on s49.hosthorde.com from the incorrect location, to an Amsterdam server during the maintenance period. The hostname, s49.hosthorde.com, will remain unchanged. However, the IP behind the hostname will be changed.
During the transfer process, all client servers will be shut down as we clone data to the new location. We expect between 10-30 minutes of actual downtime. Additionally, the new DNS information may take up to several hours to propogate to all users. Users who need immediate access can speed up the process by flushing their DNS once the maintenance has been completed. A guide for flushing your DNS can be found at the following link: http://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html
Updates will be posted on our network status Twitter account (http://twitter.com/HostHordeStatus) during the maintenance period.
To make up for the inconvenience, we are offering all clients on s49.hosthorde.com an account credit equivilant to one month of service. This account credit can be claimed by opening a ticket at http://hosthorde.com/support/ requesting the credit. This credit is being offered up until October 13th, 2013, after which date the credit cannot be claimed.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us via http://hosthorde.com/support/
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue.
